Former federal agent. Security consultant. I help schools, churches, and organizations see their real risk and fix it before it gets tested.
Who I Am
I spent more than a decade as a federal agent. Most of that time I worked investigations: fraud, identity theft, violent crime, financial crime, narcotics, and bomb-related threats. I ran multi-agency operations, planned and served warrants, ran interviews and interrogations, and testified in federal court.
Over those years I worked up to managing the threat management program for a regional division. That territory covered four states. Firearms, defensive tactics, officer survival. The tactical training that keeps agents and officers alive in the field.
I ran law enforcement operations at national events, safeguarding everyone in attendance, from fans to players to owners. I trained in executive protection through my agency and served in that program on agency assignments. As a collateral duty, I supported a federal protective detail.
In 2017 I took that experience out of government and started Risk Strategy Group. I assess the places people spend their days: schools, churches, organizations, government facilities, and critical infrastructure. Through Texas DPS licensing, I train and certify a full range of people: everyday citizens, armed educators, on-duty first responders, and tactical medicine professionals.
None of this is past tense. I still train people in firearms and tactics, and I still work in high-risk travel environments.
